Lisa Strom is a dedicated educational professional with 29 years of teaching experience, coupled with more than 10 years in educational leadership. A lifelong learner, Lisa is especially skilled in lesson planning and instruction as well as in training and mentoring faculty. Lisa excels at facilitating professional development and developing curriculum tailored to students' diverse goals and needs.

Lisa holds an MEd in Organization and Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an MS in English Education from Southern Connecticut State University. Additionally, she earned a BA in English and Women’s Studies from Appalachian State University. Certified in Administration and English, Lisa's commitment to education is evident through her roles as Assistant Principal, Department Chair and ELA teacher in various Connecticut districts. She is also an AP exam reader for the College Board. With a track record of success in enhancing student performance and fostering a creative and positive learning environment, Lisa is dedicated to making a positive impact.

A native of Miami, FL, Lisa is a longtime resident of Stamford with her husband Eric, daughter Sarah, and their crazy dogs and cat. She is a member of Temple Beth El, a long-time volunteer for the Stamford All-School Musical, a recent Fund for Teachers grant recipient and a Malawi TREK alumna of the local nonprofit buildOn. In her spare time, Lisa loves to read and travel.
