Stephanie Gaumer, MEd

Stephanie is happy to be returning to The Spire School after a three-year hiatus to Arizona, a move she had to make for her husband's job. Upon returning in 2021, she briefly tutored for Links Academy and was hired as a Spire's full-time science and special education teacher. She also taught at The Pinnacle School for five years. Courses included history, science, art, culinary, and music. Before Arizona, courses she taught in Spire included science, history, ELA, music, and culinary arts. She earned her Masters's Degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from Western Connecticut State University. She is a trained classical pianist and professional musical director and dabbles in the culinary arts and hand-thrown pottery. She lives in Norwalk, CT with her husband, adorable dog, and cat.
