Valerie L. Babich, Psy.D

Valerie L. Babich, Psy.D., brings more than 30 years of experience in school psychology and student mental health to the Spire Advisory Board. She currently provides psychotherapy, parent counseling, and clinical supervision through her private practice in Westport, Connecticut, and consults with schools on student social-emotional and behavioral needs, MTSS development, and staff coaching. From 2011–2025, Dr. Babich served as Coordinator of Psychological Services for Westport Public Schools, leading district-wide consultation and crisis support and supervising a multidisciplinary team of 31 school psychologists, social workers, and counselors while co-leading SEL initiatives including RULER and DBT. Dr. Babich earned her Psy.D. in Child/School Psychology from New York University.
