Alyssa was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut. She knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career working with children. Throughout High School and College she spent weekends and summers babysitting and working as a camp counselor. Caring for, supporting, and aiding in the success and happiness of a child is a passion of hers. Alyssa received a Bachelor of Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT. She then went on to receive her masters degree and certification in School Counseling from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
She is a certified school counselor in NY and CT. Alyssa completed her graduate level internships in the Greenwich, CT, school district. Alyssa then worked as an Interim School Counselor before joining Spire's Life Coach team. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys traveling, skiing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
