Jeanmarie McLean, MA

Jeanmarie is Spire's full-time substitute teacher and is a CT State Certified history teacher for grades 7 to 12. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor’s degree in Management.  Jeanmarie has worked with GEG for over 5 years as a trained executive function coach, academic tutor and test prep tutor for standardized tests such as the SAT, and she has served as a teacher at Links Academy and a long-term substitute. Jeanmarie worked as a small business specialist for many years and she has two grown sons. Her passions include skiing, dancing and writing, and she welcomes every chance to work with students to engage in the process of learning in the manner which best suits their needs.
